The Venice Florida Corvette has a Museum Ambassador for our club. The National Corvette Museum communicates to our Ambassador through e-mails, NCM eNews, Facebook, Twitter etc. Our Ambassador in turn keeps the club updated about the NCM and attends museum yearly events.
Our club also supports the museum in other ways. On display at the museum is the club banner, walk of fame club brick and those of individual members. A club tile is displayed at the entrance. In 2018, the club's granite bench was installed. See the pictures below.
An added attraction next to the museum is the Motorsports Park. It is a twin circuit layout featuring a 2-mile 13 turn circuit and a 1-mile 10 turn track. High performance driver training is provided during the year.
In 2019 a number of club members joined the 25th Anniversary National Corvette Caravan. Regional caravans will form and join other caravans as they travel across the United States to meet in Bowling Green, Kentucky for four days of festivities at the National Corvette Museum. In 2014 over 20 club cars participated in the national caravan and had a wonderful time.
